Grand Lodge 2010 will be held at beautiful Thompson Rivers University (TRU) in Kamloops. We have booked the bulk of the Residence and Conference Centre for accommodation.
These rooms are not like ordinary dorm rooms. They are designed for conferences just such as this. Most rooms have over-length double beds. We have booked one bedroom, two bedroom and four bedroom rooms.
As you can see by the rates below, you can book a room for as little as $35 per person, per night. In the four-bedroom room, for example, cost is $129.00 for four people. This unit has two bathrooms, four separate bedrooms and a common area. There is a continental breakfast provided free each morning, and you’re within a five minute walk of the Campus Activity Centre, and the Gymnasium.
For those with extreme difficulty walking, we plan to provide transportation to the Gym for the Grand Lodge Sessions and the Grand Master’s Banquet. Parking will be free for those staying at the Residence.
TYPES OF ACCOMMODATION
Note that if you happen to be looking on the TRU web site, you will see other types of accommodation as well. There are suites, etc, available, but most of these have been set aside for the Grand Line, some Grand Lodge Officers, and VIP’s.
For those planning to have hospitality suites, there are rooms designed for that purpose on most floors. Some have been set aside for Grand Line use, but there will be plenty, on a first come, first serve basis for individual Lodges to use. These must be booked through the GL2010 Venue Chairman, Bob Brodie at (250) 372-1628.

$10 each person for 3rd & 4th persons
There are also two bedroom deluxe suites which start at $109.95. Some of these may be reserved for VIP’s. Note that the cost is the total cost of the room, not per person, except the extra cost for 3 or 4 people. Rooms subject to 15% tax.

Perhaps the best deal of all - Total Cost- $129.00 ($32.25 per bedroom). All rooms subject to 15% tax.

ADDITIONAL ACCOMMODATION
The Grand Lodge 2010 Committee has made additional block bookings in several Kamloops hotels for those who may wish the more traditional hotel accommodation, and for overflow traffic should the Residence at TRU become fully-booked.
All hotels are within a five-minute drive of the campus. There is plenty of parking at TRU ($3 per day). Please note that, unless noted, rates are subject to all applicable taxes

RV PARKING
There is limited RV Parking in the Kamloops area. There is no RV Parking on the University site,
but the following 3 campgrounds are located within a reasonable distance, as indicated below. The Knutsford Campsite
is the closest to the University, about a 10 minute drive. The Silver Sage is about 15 minutes away, The Kamloops RV
Park is about 25-30 minutes away.
